Cosham Fire Station is a new, purpose-built facility for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS), located on Northern Road in Cosham, Portsmouth, Hampshire. This project forms part of a broader station investment programme by HIWFRS, which also includes the recently completed Bishop’s Waltham Fire Station (delivered by Hopkins in January 2023) and a state-of-the-art live fire training facility at the service’s headquarters in Eastleigh. These developments are vital to meeting modern operational requirements, supporting larger emergency vehicles, and enhancing training capabilities. The Cosham station includes three appliance bays, dedicated training areas, fitness facilities, office and administration spaces, accommodation, catering provisions and a training tower.
