On Friday, 10th July, our Hopkins Dodgeball Heroes took to the court at the Ace Sports & Education Charity Dodgeball Event, raising money for the incredible Abby’s Heroes.
After a day of dodging, diving, and (occasionally) being hit by flying dodgeballs, we’re proud to say the team fought their way to a fantastic 3rd place finish! 🥉
More importantly, it was a brilliant day spent supporting a charity that makes a real difference to families facing childhood cancer.
Our Team Captain, Neil Johnson, summed the day up perfectly:
“It didn’t take much convincing to get everyone into costume for the day, and it was great to be part of such a fun and different fundraising event. The Ace Sports team were fantastic and made the day enjoyable for everyone. We may need a bit more dodgeball practice before the next one, but we’re already looking forward to coming back and supporting another great event for such a worthwhile charity.”
