After 27 years’ service, Kevin Scully has now taken his well deserved retirement. All his colleagues at Hopkins would like to take this opportunity to thank him for passing on his vast design knowledge, helping to train the next generation.
We would like to thank Kevin for his amazing dedication and wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.
On Valentine’s day 45 years’ ago John and Barbara Hopkins took the big decision to form a Heating & Plumbing company trading from their home address. It is a fantastic achievement that 45 years’ later the company thrives from a self-delivered office only a mile or so from where it all started 🎊
Paul Cross has been awarded the employee recognition for this quarter 🏆 Paul has been doing a fantastic job on Pelham Street, he has been able to keep on program, ahead of work and keep the team motivated on site. Well done Paul!
Congratulations to Jason Parker who celebrates his twenty-year anniversary at Hopkins. Jason started as a trainee engineer in the contracts team and worked under Paul Hopkins as he developed his industry knowledge and skills. He finally found his niche in design and has progressed from junior design engineer to company Director in that space of time and is a great ambassador for the company, well done Jason
We are proud to support and share the news that Callum Harman, our Electrician, along with his brother, Zakk Harman, completed a challenging bike ride from London Bridge to Newcastle Tyne Bridge! They rode 7 hours per day to make it to Newcastle in 4 days, which is a 320 mile trip!! 🚴🏼♂️🚴🏼
They are raising money in memory of a family member that sadly passed away last year, to support the charity Children with Cancer UK, to give children the chance to enjoy life to the absolute max.
Well done guys, you did an amazing job 👏🏻 What an achievement! 💪🏻
Happy New Year everyone! It’s great to be back feeling energised, refreshed, and ready to go for 2023. We’ll be building on our positive momentum from last year with a healthy forward workload already secured, and we cannot wait to get started!
We are excited to see what this year has in store!
On behalf of J&B Hopkins Ltd, we want to express our deep sadness at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and send our condolences to the Royal Family for their loss.
Queen Elizabeth earned the affection and admiration of our country and people across the world for how she dedicated herself to service and she was an example to us all.
This month we are celebrating two exceptional Length of Service Awards. Work anniversaries of this length are not as common in the industry as they used to be that’s for sure, but at Hopkins we seem to be bucking the trend!
Congratulations to Lee Williams for 25 years and Phil Tuck for 20 years of service
Social responsibility is important to Hopkins, as such we have renewed our sponsorship of Hedge End United junior football team this year. It has been great to watch their development and progress so far and are hoping for another successful season. Keep it up Tornadoes!!
