At Hopkins, we believe in the power of apprenticeshipsโnot just to grow our business, but to create real social impact. Our apprentices gain meaningful employment, hands-on experience, and specialised training tailored to our industry. From day one, they become part of the team, learning alongside experienced colleagues. By earning while they learn, they develop invaluable skills and gain formal certification, setting them up for long-term success.
Meet Caleb, one of our newest ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฑ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐ฏ ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ at Hopkins! Caleb joined us on December 9th and is already making great progress in his role. Hereโs what he had to say about his apprenticeship journey so far:
“Iโm Caleb, Iโm 18 years old, and sports have always been a big part of my life. Iโve played high-level football for as long as I can remember and even spent some time boxing. But when it came to thinking about my career, I wanted something that Iโd find interesting and rewardingโsomething that would give me real experience while helping me grow professionally. Thatโs why I decided to start a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship with Hopkins in December.
Since joining, Iโve been learning so much, especially when it comes to document control and using key business tools like Excel and Word. My time is split between working at Hopkins and attending business-focused training sessions, both of which are helping me develop valuable skills. The support Iโve received from the team has been amazingโtheyโve trained me well and are always there when I need guidance.
This apprenticeship has already had a big impact on me. I feel like Iโve grown as a person, becoming more professional, more confident, and much more knowledgeable about the business world. If I had any advice for someone thinking about an apprenticeship, it would be to take notes when learning something newโit makes working independently so much easier. And most importantly, be yourself and build good relationships with the people around you!
Iโm excited to see where this journey takes me, and Iโm grateful to be part of the team here at Hopkins.”
Weโre proud to support Calebโs journey and look forward to seeing all that he achieves! ๐
