On Friday, 10th July, our Hopkins Dodgeball Heroes took to the court at the Ace Sports & Education Charity Dodgeball Event, raising money for the incredible Abby’s Heroes.

After a day of dodging, diving, and (occasionally) being hit by flying dodgeballs, we’re proud to say the team fought their way to a fantastic 3rd place finish! 🥉

More importantly, it was a brilliant day spent supporting a charity that makes a real difference to families facing childhood cancer.

Our Team Captain, Neil Johnson, summed the day up perfectly:
“It didn’t take much convincing to get everyone into costume for the day, and it was great to be part of such a fun and different fundraising event. The Ace Sports team were fantastic and made the day enjoyable for everyone. We may need a bit more dodgeball practice before the next one, but we’re already looking forward to coming back and supporting another great event for such a worthwhile charity.”

A huge thank you to Ace Sports & Education for organising such a fantastic event and to everyone who has supported our fundraising so far.

💜 There’s still time to donate to Abby’s Heroes. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps the charity continue its incredible work supporting children with cancer and their families.

Take a look at the photos—there are some great action shots, although we’re not sure they’ll all want evidence of their dodging technique! 😄

One week on from our Charity Golf Day… and we’re still talking about it ⛳

Last week we brought together the Hopkins team, clients and supply chain partners to raise funds for the amazing Abby’s Heroes – a charity doing incredible work to support children and families facing cancer. 💜

We weren’t sure what the weather would do… but thankfully the rain stayed away and the course was set for a brilliant day of golf, networking and (a bit of) healthy competition.

The support this year was next level – from generous sponsorship and donations to hands down the best raffle prizes we’ve ever had.
And the result?

👉 £𝟰,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 for Abby’s Heroes!!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved – whether you played, sponsored, donated or helped behind the scenes. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you.

Roll on next year… because I think it’s safe to say:
Best golf day in the South? DONE. ✅

At Hopkins, we believe in the power of community which is why we’re proud to continue our sponsorship of Southsea Nomads RFC, a club whose “One Club, One Family” ethos mirrors our own values.

This partnership is more than a logo on a shirt. With the Club Chairman, Team Manager and two players all being Hopkins employees, the connection is real and part of everyday life. Our support helps remove financial barriers for players, ensuring rugby is accessible to everyone who wants to be part of the team.

We’d love to gain even more support down at the pitch — whether you want to cheer from the side-lines or even get involved on the field, the gates are always open. 📍 Home games: Eastney Barracks Sports & Social Club

We’re excited to once again sponsor Hedge End United U11s for the 2025/26 season. This is our fourth year supporting the team and continuing our commitment to local grassroots football.

The squad are already underway with their season and looking brilliant in their new kit. It’s great to back a group of young players who show such dedication, enthusiasm and community spirit. Grassroots football plays a vital role in helping children stay active, build confidence and develop teamwork, and we’re proud to support that.

Wishing the U11s a successful season ahead!

Each Christmas, Hopkins supports Waypoint Church Foodbank in Fareham, whose work helps local families navigate what can be a challenging time of year.

This year, we invited colleagues to get involved—and the response was fantastic. We also had generous contributions from visiting supply chain partners, making it a genuine team effort.

Yesterday, we delivered all donated items to the foodbank. At Hopkins, we’re committed to supporting our community and making a positive impact where we can.

👉 If you’re able, please consider supporting your local foodbank this Christmas. Every donation, large or small, can help a family in need.

Thank you to Haren Rajwani BEng(Hons) MSc AMIMechE from GRUNDFOS, Rebecca Moore from BSS, Ian Atkins from Pipe Centre and Michael Taylor from BISON for generously adding to our food bank contributions when visiting our head office!

As the 𝗨𝟭𝟬 𝗛𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 🌪️ wrap up their final game of the season, we at Hopkins couldn’t be prouder to continue supporting this amazing group of young players.

For the past four years, we’ve had the honour of sponsoring this grassroots team — and what a journey it’s been! This season brought its fair share of challenges, but for these kids, it’s never just about the result. It’s about passion, teamwork, growth, and playing the game they love.

A massive thank you to the coaching trio — our very own Director, Jason Parker, alongside two fantastic volunteer coaches — who give their time and energy week in, week out to develop and inspire these young players. Your dedication truly makes a difference.

Well done to all the players, coaches, and families involved — we’re already looking forward to next season! 💚⚽️
