Meet Ashleigh Law, our Document Controller 👋

As we celebrate #SkillsforLife, we’re proud to share Ashleigh’s apprenticeship journey at Hopkins.

“My name is Ashleigh and I’ve been with Hopkins for 2 years, successfully completing my Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship in 2025. I chose Hopkins because my goal is to become an Electrical Project Manager, and I knew this was the best place to explore different departments and learn how projects come together.

During my apprenticeship I’ve worked across HR, Administration, Operations, Design, Tech Services and Document Control. After supporting a range of teams and projects, I was recently promoted to Project Document Controller—an amazing step towards my future career.

I’ve grown so much in confidence, communication, decision‑making and understanding how the industry works. A highlight was running my own project to improve the efficiency of our electric vehicle chargers, working with colleagues from apprentices to Directors.

Hopkins has supported me every step of the way, and my advice to anyone considering an apprenticeship is simple: take every opportunity and never be afraid to ask questions.”
