We are proud to announce our in-house wellbeing committee will be attending the 2 day mental health first aid course with all 9 representatives trained by May 2019. This training will provide invaluable understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing, along with practical skills to spot the triggers and signs. It will also ensure our members feel confident to step in, reassure and support a person in distress and help guide them to further support (whether thatโs self-help resources, the companyโs employee assistance programme or via the NHS).
Just one way J&B Hopkins are trying to make a difference in reducing the stigma around mental health and getting people talking openly and comfortably.
