St Wilfrid’s Hospice in the village of Bosham is a custom built facility for the charity to act as a palliative care ward. With a capacity of 18 bedrooms each fitted with bespoke medical bedheads with a fully integrated Nurse Call system, a day hospice/walk in area, treatment rooms and also an office area to act as the charity’s new headquarters for administration and fund raising.

Formerly part of Brunel University, Audley Villages, Cooper’s Hill, is a luxury retirement village located within the 66 acres of the Magna Carta Park in the village of Englefield Green, near Runnymede in Surrey. The village development will comprise of 128 high-end residential 2 bedroom apartments, extensive communal areas including a hobby room, hairdressing salon, library, guest facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, bar/bistro and private dining areas.
The development is a mix of refurbishment and new build, with the build retaining an existing facade with new structures integrated and adjacent to the historic frontage connected by an underground parking facility. The old Cooper’s Hill House building which was built in the 1870’s is being restored to house the swimming pool, health and well-being areas as well as the all exemplary restaurant and bar bistro area.
Phase 1 of the project was handed over in November 2019, with Phase 2 planned to complete in March 2020.

J&B Hopkins carried out a design & build contract for all mechanical, electrical and public health services on the development and were involved in the design from the initial planning application stage. The project achieved a “Very Good” rating under BREEAM in part achieved by the innovative services design J&B Hopkins provided which included gas absorption heat pumps to generate domestic hot water.

Wellington Vale is a brand new 80 bedroom residential care home in Waterlooville, Hampshire. Hopkins carried out a design & build contract for all mechanical, electrical and public health services on the development and were involved in the design from the initial planning application stage. The project achieved an “Excellent” rating under BREEAM in part achieved by the innovative services design J&B Hopkins provided which included Photovoltaic Panels (PV), gas absorption heat pumps to generate domestic hot water and a high efficiency LED lighting scheme with automated lighting control.

St Ives Place, located in the rural market town of Ringwood, is a contemporary retirement care facility made up of a 60 bedroom residential care home, 16 two and three bedroom apartments, and 4 three bedroom cottages, all meticulously finished to a very high standard. Hopkins carried out a design & build contract for all mechanical, electrical and public health services on the development and were involved in the design from the initial planning application stage. The project utilised innovative design services which included gas absorption heat pumps to generate domestic hot water and LTHW heating services. The emergency nurse call system provides 24 hour care for older people, as well as specialist care for people living with dementia. The home offers best in class facilities, with en-suite rooms for 60 residents, as well as a café, hair and beauty salon, craft room, bakery, lounges, library and landscaped gardens.

Th inclusion of apartments and cottages within the development is designed to meet the needs if those who, in their retirement years, wish to lead independent lives but have the security of knowing assistance and support is available if required.

Elmbridge Retirement Village is in the heart of the Cranleigh countryside and the current phase includes 19 modern luxury independent living apartments meticulously finished to a very high standard. The ground floor communal area forms the new village core, and includes a dance hall, bar, restaurant, library and games rooms for the retirement community to socialise. Mayflower Court in Southampton is a contemporary residential care home made up of 72 en-suite rooms meticulously finished to a very high standard. Complete M&E services to Phase 2 of Bishopstoke Park Retirement Village. The project is a 3 stage development, Phase 2 consists of 73 luxury independent living apartments over 11 blocks a refurbishment of the existing coach house building and 2 listed lodges. The district heating, domestic services, electrical supplies, site wide fire alarm system and structured cabling will be fed from the energy centre and switch room in the Phase 1 Village Core building.
