The Pelham Street development in Brighton features 135 Residential apartments comprising of a mixture of one, two and three bedroom apartments, as well as four family townhouses.

 

The development comprises of 4 infill site locations in Hounslow for the local Council. The designs of each development are aiming to achieve a high level of sustainability . The homes are each designed to utilise simple, but effective construction techniques to minimise heat loss and maximise efficiency, as well as low carbon technologies including air source heat pumps, increased insulation and photovoltaic panels. The design is to support the council in reducing its carbon emissions to net zero by 2030.  Orchard Road – a scheme of 5 affordable homes using a design which aims to exceed the London Energy Transformation Initiative. The Everglades – an infill development which will provide 33 homes across three residential buildings, all of which sit within an existing estate. Clements Court – a project which will create 74 high quality homes as well as a large amenity space in the centre of the estate for new and existing residents. Rose Gardens – a scheme of 42 homes created through the demolition of two apartment blocks and a series of garages on an existing estate.

Marketfield Way is a landmark development in Redhill, featuring a six-screen cinema, eleven glass-fronted shops and restaurants on the ground and first floors, as well as 153 studio, one and two bedroom build-to-rent apartments. We are carrying out the full design and installation of the MEP services.

Egham is an historic town, and the Council is embarking on a sensitive redevelopment of part of the central area to create a new square, shops, a cinema and new housing. The plans will deliver 101 new homes and a 100 bed student accommodation block consisting of studio apartments and communal areas. Hopkins are undertaking the full M&E installation under a Design and Build contract with a target completion of January 2022.

Formerly part of Brunel University, Audley Villages, Cooper’s Hill, is a luxury retirement village located within the 66 acres of the Magna Carta Park in the village of Englefield Green, near Runnymede in Surrey. The village development will comprise of 128 high-end residential 2 bedroom apartments, extensive communal areas including a hobby room, hairdressing salon, library, guest facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, bar/bistro and private dining areas.
The development is a mix of refurbishment and new build, with the build retaining an existing facade with new structures integrated and adjacent to the historic frontage connected by an underground parking facility. The old Cooper’s Hill House building which was built in the 1870’s is being restored to house the swimming pool, health and well-being areas as well as the all exemplary restaurant and bar bistro area.
Phase 1 of the project was handed over in November 2019, with Phase 2 planned to complete in March 2020.

Cumberland Place is a 12 storey building providing 143 studio bedrooms and 21 three-bedroom flats with supporting communal space at ground floor level, associated parking and other facilities such as a sky lounge on the 10th floor.

Magna Carta Park (now known as Hox Park) is a new build 500 bed student accommodation development located in Runnymede. The accommodation is split across 3 blocks and includes a mixture of individual studio apartments and cluster bedrooms with ensuites and shared kitchens. The low temperature hot water is generated by a combination of a combined heat and power unit (CHP) and condensing gas fired boilers, these are utilised to generate domestic hot water via packed plate heat exchangers and distribute around the site via pre-insulated underground mains.

Hopkins carried out installation of the mechanical and electrical services in order to transform two elderly office buildings into 19 luxury modern short term let and holiday apartments, providing spectacular marina and South Downs views. Both buildings have a centrally boosted cold water supply and the apartments fitted with luxury sanitaryware and brassware.

Retaining the historical aspects of the landmark site, the contemporary design of the 34 residential units offer a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, including eight open market apartments which are of the highest quality, specification and design. The site also includes a 2 level underground car park.
