Other key features include the ground floor ‘The Jetty’ restaurant with luxury external terrace, rooftop cocktail bar named ‘HarBAR on 6th’ featuring outdoor pizza oven and cooking facilities, dramatic double height events space including private bar and feature reception incorporating helical illuminated staircase.

J&B Hopkins were involved in extensive upfront 3D Revit design and worked closely with key members of the professional team to co-ordinate and plan the services installation then bringing to reality from initial concept to finished installation.

Chamberlain Halls is a new build 356 bed student accommodation development located near the University of Southampton. The accommodation is split across 5 blocks and includes an energy centre which provides low temperature hot water and domestic water services to all blocks via a district heating network. The low temperature hot water is generated by a combination of a combined heat and power unit (CHP) and condensing gas fired boilers to provide a carbon efficient scheme to achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.
