A three-storey building comprising a 25m indoor pool with diving facilities and a moveable floor, there is also 2 changing room facilities comprising of toilets and showers. The complex also has a number of sports and spectator facilities including 9 court sports hall, 8 squash courts, general fitness spaces, athletes development space with spring track, dojo space, physio spaces, classrooms and offices. The facility is equipped with the latest BMS and pool control with timing systems along with full building A/V system. The scheme benefits from dimmable led lighting with Bluetooth control and is also surrounded with the latest led external lighting covering the parking and planted areas. The project has state of art basement plant room housing the boilers, CHP, water storage and pool equipment. In addition to this there is a concealed roof plant room housing all the ventilation and a/c equipment.
Complete M&E Services Design & Build for new build Primary School which has been constructed above a new Lidl store. Hopkins were appointed on a full Design & Build basis. We introduced value engineering, ensuring full compliance with the DfE’s requirements and Clients financial budget. Working closely with our specialist energy modeler to design M&E systems with the highest energy efficiency to meet the EFA’s stringent energy consumption criteria.
Newbuild SEN School in Eastbourne, accommodating 84 students between the ages of 5 and 16 who have been diagnosed with autism and speech/communication needs (ASC), alongside a separate Centre called the Southfield Centre educates up to 51 learners with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). The school offers effective teaching facilities, plus a range of internal and external play areas, a hydrotherapy pool, quiet calming rooms, physiotherapy, SEN therapy rooms, soft play and sensory rooms.
The Cavendish Student Accommodation development is located in Winchester, consisting of 1,272sq.m of flexible office and co-working space in a 5 storey building, connected to an 88 bed student accommodation building. The 88 units proposed (87 units for students and a flat for the Warden), will allow for an equivalent number of students to be accommodated within the purpose-built student accommodation, in a mixture of clusters (48 bed spaces) and studio flats (39 bed spaces). The studio apartments will comprise of a bedroom, en-suite shower room and a small kitchen. The cluster flats will comprise bedrooms (with en-suite shower rooms), based around a shared kitchen facility.
The Moulsecoomb Campus East consists of five new student accommodation tower blocks of differing heights from 9 to 18 storeys, offering 804 rooms in the heart of Brighton.
There is a podium deck level with landscaped gardens leading to the UOB Mithras House and access to the ground floor where the student union, gym, comical kitchen and energy centre are sited.
Egham is an historic town, and the Council is embarking on a sensitive redevelopment of part of the central area to create a new square, shops, a cinema and new housing. The plans will deliver 101 new homes and a 100 bed student accommodation block consisting of studio apartments and communal areas. Hopkins are undertaking the full M&E installation under a Design and Build contract with a target completion of January 2022.

Process areas include processing and packing of various meat products with specialist MEP supplies to support the operation of the equipment and space including a pressurised dedicated foam cleaning system.

Formerly part of Brunel University, Audley Villages, Cooper’s Hill, is a luxury retirement village located within the 66 acres of the Magna Carta Park in the village of Englefield Green, near Runnymede in Surrey. The village development will comprise of 128 high-end residential 2 bedroom apartments, extensive communal areas including a hobby room, hairdressing salon, library, guest facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, bar/bistro and private dining areas.
The development is a mix of refurbishment and new build, with the build retaining an existing facade with new structures integrated and adjacent to the historic frontage connected by an underground parking facility. The old Cooper’s Hill House building which was built in the 1870’s is being restored to house the swimming pool, health and well-being areas as well as the all exemplary restaurant and bar bistro area.
Phase 1 of the project was handed over in November 2019, with Phase 2 planned to complete in March 2020.
A landmark project located in Sutton city centre, the new building comprises 140 Premier Inn bedrooms, of which 7 are universally accessible, with a 206 cover Bar + Block restaurant at street level. Full mechanical installation utilising a Mitsubishi City Multi VRF system coupled with central supply and extraction system with heat recovery, serving all bedrooms and restaurant, contributing towards the energy rating in order to comply with current building regulations and clients’ specification. In addition to the central ventilation heat recovery system, an air source heat pump has been installed to pre-heat the hotels hot water demand.
The Hilton Garden Inn, Abingdon, is a part refurbishment of an existing hotel combined with a new build. Inside the hotel consists of 146 bedrooms, restaurant, function suite, meeting rooms, bars, lounge areas and gym. The hotel is fully heated and cooled utilising high efficiency AHU’s and combined heat pump systems throughout to conform to the high quality set out by Hilton brand standards.
