Project Update: West Slopes

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘅 – 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 & 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲

Earlier this year, Hopkins proudly commenced work on the West Slope Project and the Health and Wellbeing Centre in partnership with Balfour Beatty plc at the University of Sussex campus in Falmer, Brighton.

Our project team recently held a successful end-of-year review, reflecting on strong progress to date:

✅ Out of 23 buildings, we’ve completed 1st and 2nd fix in the residential areas of 3 buildings, covering 376 student accommodation rooms.
✅ Installed two main plant rooms.
✅ Currently working on four additional buildings at 1st fix stage.
✅ The Health and Wellbeing Centre is 1st fixed and now in its second fix stage, on track for commissioning in February 2026.
