Formerly part of Brunel University, Audley Villages, Cooper’s Hill, is a luxury retirement village located within the 66 acres of the Magna Carta Park in the village of Englefield Green, near Runnymede in Surrey. The village development will comprise of 128 high-end residential 2 bedroom apartments, extensive communal areas including a hobby room, hairdressing salon, library, guest facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, bar/bistro and private dining areas. The development is a mix of refurbishment and new build, with the build retaining an existing facade with new structures integrated and adjacent to the historic frontage connected by an underground parking facility. The old Cooper’s Hill House building which was built in the 1870’s is being restored to house the swimming pool, health and well-being areas as well as the all exemplary restaurant and bar bistro area. Phase 1 of the project was handed over in November 2019, with Phase 2 planned to complete in March 2020.
